The Bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes and the Rector of the Sanctuary meet Leo XIV
On 26 June, Pope Leo XIV granted a private audience to the Bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes, Mgr. Jean-Marc Micas, and the Rector of the Sanctuary of Lourdes, Father Michel Daubanes.
It was an opportunity to discuss the Sanctuary's missions and major projects, and to invite the Pontiff to make a pilgrimage to Lourdes.
The Holy Father confided he had already been to Lourdes on pilgrimage twice, when he was 19 and 29.
