Christophe, aged 30, chose to come on pilgrimage to Lourdes in the middle of summer. He talks about the grace he experienced during the sacrament of reconciliation, in front of the Grotto and under the compassionate eyes of Our Lady of Lourdes.

“I went to the confessions on “the prairie”. I had a lot I wanted to say, but it seemed like an insurmountable task. I only managed to do it in the evening. After confession, I went to meditate. I was overcome with emotion. I cried. An inner voice said to me: ‘You are not alone in carrying your cross.’

A great peace came over me. I left Lourdes feeling like I was on cloud nine... Since that day, a journey of conversion has followed, and I give thanks every day. The tears shed at Lourdes are those of repentance. Today, I can say that it was the Lord who spoke to my heart.”
