Notre-Dame Service

Hospitalité hostesses

The Notre-Dame service volunteers ensure the well -being of the other volunteers, pilgrims and the sick by carrying out complementary tasks including:

  • Preparing to host the sick;
  • Arranging dining rooms to host the sick;
  • Providing pleasant living conditions;
  • Arranging floral decorations, etc...

This can be found at welcome desks, at the train stations and airport, and in sacristies. They also work in the sewing room and take care of laundry to ensure the sick pilgrims are welcomed “as the Lord himself woube be.”
